Shooting Sports at CU

ShootingSportsatColoradoUniversity-LongRange

Tyler Murphy President of the Shooting Sports at CU approached me last year to looking for help getting into long range precision shooting.  I reached out to the team, and everyone was excited to help new shooters get involved.

Overview

Currently Shooting Sports at CU also know as Shooting Sports at Colorado University is an independent student organization at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

They were “established spring 2014 with the goal of providing an opportunity for the students at the university to continue or start competing in a variety of shooting sports in a safe manner.”

The Shooting Sports at CU currently has a website located HERE, and maintains a facebook page HERE.  They started out focused strongly on the shotgun sports, but want to expand into long range precision rifle.

Team Bison Tactical has agreed to provide technical assistance and mentoring.  Team Bison Tactical and our Sponsors understand the benefit of growing the sport at all levels.

Assisting grass roots efforts like these of the Shooting Sports at CU is important to everyone who has an interest in seeing these long distance shooting sports grow!

The students have provided the following shooter profiles for the core group of students who are pursuing long range precision rifle in competition:

Current Sponsors

As most of you are aware, one of the greatest limitation for new shooters is getting quality gear.  Team Bison Tactical working with our sponsors have been able to provide some loaner gear to assist these new shooters with getting up to speed more quickly and become more competitive.

I am happy to highlight those sponsors on this page.  Please reach out to thank them for helping grow the sport at the grass roots level!

Of course new or used gear is all very expensive, and this team of college students can use any and all assistance.  Please feel free to contact me if you would like to assist, either by donating your used gear (individuals) or if you are a corporate sponsor who is looking for young brand ambassadors.
